The Dragonfly™ is a remarkably refined folding knife design that balances compact size with full-service cutting performance. Its unique handle shape and textured index-finger choil comfortably accommodate all hand sizes for a secure, non-slip, four-finger grip. The Dragonfly 2 refines the design even further by expressing it with an injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle. The ultra-lightweight, one-piece handle includes a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for a secure grip, a sturdy back lock mechanism, and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip for discreet tip-up carry on either side of the body. Standard Dragonfly 2 models feature full-flat ground blades crafted stainless steel. They proudly feature a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for easy one-handed opening with either hand and are supported by a sturdy back lock mechanism to ensure the design is completely ambidextrous. The Dragonfly 2 is available with a solid black or orange-colored handle, and with a unique green Zome treatment. Zome (pronounced "zoh-may") is a class of Japanese handicrafts that focuses on dyeing textiles. Inspired by this rich artistic heritage, Spyderco's Zome knives are molded in a light base color and then individually hand dyed by expert Japanese artisans. Using a technique reminiscent of traditional hiki-zome (brush dyeing), various colors of dye are hand brushed onto the handle to create distinctive, one-of-a-kind patterns.
