FROLICKER SINGLE DOME REED

As far as a calf reed goes there is simply no other reed in our lineup that has the versatility of the Frolicker! This single dome reed is built with our thinnest latex and a very soft stretch. This thin and soft latex gives us so many options for sounds. Changing tones is quick and easy.  You can go from cow mews and whines to calf sounds or even young bull bugles instantly. Although not meant for aggressive bulges or reaching that high note, it honestly surprised  me with low note bugles, moans and groans. This little dynamo reed is perfect for tending, breeding and cow/calf calling sequences.  It could in fact become your favorite reed like it has for me.  The Frolicker was my go to reed last year during my prototype stage
